Hi - I just signed up for the $39.99 100 MBPS special. Can anyone help me confirm that there is no contract and that I can cancel the policy anytime.

No way of knowing. You should have gotten a confirmation email which states the terms and conditions and if contract or not.

You can call 1-800-VERIZON but don’t take a verbal word. Only in writing.
