I have tried the method suggested by Verizon where you enter 9-5-5 but it does not work. I have also tried other methods that do not work. Any thoughts?
I have the same type of problem with my 2 Avera TV’s
I can program the remote to control the channels through the Verizon box
- but the volume button changes the actual Avera TV channel, so you lose the connection to your cable
Unfortunately, these types of "universal" remotes don't always accomodate every TV.
You may have to go with something like a Harmony remote that can get software updates to support additional equipment.
