I have whole house DVR and that is fine. However there are some programs I would like to save to my VCR or DVD to keep. How do I record this way? Almost every program tells me I am not allowed.
There is copy protection to prevent that. Requirements of content providers.
You might have luck trying different connections from STB to VCR to see if one type is better than another.
