Eligible for "New Customer Promotions" when moving to new address while in 2 years agreement?

I was told today by service rep. when I tried to terminate my recently renewed 2 years agreement (within 30 days) that I will be eligible for new customer promotions when I move, even while in 2 years agreement.

Can anyone confirm it?

Has anyone enjoyed new customer promotions after moved to new address?

I moved about 7 months ago while in the middle of my contract. Because I moved, I was eligible for one of the promotions that were being offered.

Please be advised that if you do qualify for promotions, that you have to fulfill the requirements and that you will probably wait about 3 to 4 months if it's something like a phone, tablet, or a Visa Gift Card. My gift card didn't come until near the end of January, even though I was told that I would receive it by Christmas.
