New Monitor with Fios set top box

hi I just recently Bought a new LG 32 in Monitor(32MPS58HQ)to replace my internal tv card for my desktop so i can watch tv in HD now ,my only question is when i first set it up and had the input from the fios box it told me the resolition was wrong native is 1080p and i know the fios box is 1080i the picture looks great on computer and tv so is there anything to correct or just let it be thanks Tim

Some FIOS boxes do support 1080P, e.g the Quantum boxes. Many monitors will accept 1080i, but some, that are not meant for all applications, will not.
