My mom turned off the router because we were using the internet too much but it stopped the TV from working. The DVR said that it couldn't connect to the network. It wouldn't even let me watch regular TV.
Does Verizon Fios use the router that is for browsing the internet to send the television channels to the DVR instead of something else like a seprate router or cables instead of wi-fi. Is this a technical error on their part or is this like this for everyone? I'm sort of mad. My internet speed is slow (takes several seconds to load a plain webpage without videos) and maybe this is why.
