i want to get rid of cable and only need internet. trying to see if linksys cm3024 is compatible with fios. i also have a linksys router
The Linksys cm3024 is not compatible as it is a cable modem. Your Linksys router most likely is compatible. It will connect to the WAN port from the ONTs ethernet port. What is your router's model number?
