Quantum media server tuners priority

Question

How does Quantum media server determine which tuners to use when recording multiple shows? It seems to use my main TV tuner as the third tuner to record on after using the two tuners not connected to TVs. It then uses the tuners on the lesser used bedroom and patio TVs. This is inconvenient as I would like the main den TV to be the very last tuner it uses to record on, so I can continue watching other channels instead of having to stop a recording or move to another room. Is there a way to reorder the tuner usage priority? Any help appreciated.

I assume when you say main TV tuner, you mean the VMS?

One thing to do is to set the other boxes to auto turn off or turn them off when done watching.
That frees up those tuners to be used.
