Why is the picture quality on FiOS VOD so poor? It is frustrating to pay for a FiOS VOD HD movie, watch it on a high-quality TV, only to have it appear as if I'm watching a 1980s era CRT TV. Movies with lots of dark transitions are the worst, but even bright scenes are pixelated and blocked. I have followed every troubleshooting suggestion on the Verizon website with absolutely no improvements. Movies streamed through our Firestick and Chromecast are infinitely better quality, so that is what we will be using from now on.
