Tablet a Day Giveaway

On 8/2/13 I won the tablet a day give away. Verizon called and left a voicemail stating I would get an email to confirm my shipping address, I never got the email. Today I called Verizon, spent and hour and a half on the phone talking to 6 different people in 5 departments and still did not get an answer. Has anyone else won this giveaway or know how to get help with this?

First off, congratulations and thanks so much for entering!

After a phone call, there is a short window of verification, to ensure the winner (in this case, you) meets the requirements. Then an email confirmation is sent. You should be receiving an email today. We’ll let the agency know you called and have them call you back.

I also won but as far as I know didn't receive a phone call. I entered information into the box that popped up. It stated that I would be contacted by email. So I have been waiting and nothing in about a week.

I also called and was bounced around to different sections of Verizon. No one seemed to know that there was even a contest going on. Finally I was told that there was no one I could speak to and I would have to email at the verizon.com/contact us page. I was just about to do so but first I decided to look for any references to the contest. So I am replying to this thread.

I look forward to a getting a response to this and I will also send an email at verizon.com/contact us.

I went to the online chat and was connected to billing and services. They logged an inquiry and i did receive a call on Thursday, they are looking into it and will be giving me a call. Make sure you have the date you won.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

I also logged in today and got the following message:

"CONGRATULATIONS, YOU’RE TODAY’S WINNER.

You’ll receive an email confirmation of your prize.

In the meantime, discover all the things you can do with My Verizon using these helpful tips."

I have not received an email or been notified of confirmation of the prize. Would you please advise how I should proceed? Thank you.

I also won last week on 9/4/13. When the message you are todays winer popped up i got so excited that i dropped my laptop before i could fill out any of the information. The whole hard drive crashed and i couldn't afford to replace it till just tonight. Thank got i back up my stuff regularly, my whole life is on that thing.so, I thought that maybe i would have heard something by now, an email? or phone call? but nothing. I was looking for who to contact when i came across this forum.

On 9/21/13 I won a tablet online when I signed on but have not received a phone call or email as the notification of winning stated. Please let me know who to contact.

I went online today with chat and was told to call 800-837-4966 and then was told there is no contest with Verizon by the Verizon service rep. She insisted there is no contest and there was no one else to call. Thanks for your help.

Look at the contest rules the name of the company that is administering the contest

is in there.
