Scam Calls

I got a message yesterday on my home phone, from an unknown caller, stating I has signed up for a new phone service, and to call them. I never did, and I hope I still have a block on my Verizon account that eliminates this kind of nonsense?

Can you block all calls which do not have a number that I can see from you service?

Was the new service supposed to be with Verizon? If so, you should check with support just to make sure no new services were added.
