I have fios cable for tv and phone downstairs, but wireless for internet upstairs. What materials do I need to hook up my computor in the same room as my tv? I'm elderly, so make it simple, please.
Where is you router? Seems to me you can just run a line from the router to where you want the computer

I assume what you are saying is that you have Set top box and phone connection downstairs. And your router for Internet upstairs.
Do you know if your computer has a wireless adapter built in?
Some newer computers do.
There are several different options depending on what your wiring options are.
Might be best to ask a family member or friend to help you out as trying to provide details about these options without being there can be difficult.
