Same thing just happened to me -hit the AV button TV input on the Verizon FiOS remote and nothing but white static. Can’t get anything to work. Unplugged re-plugged reset top box -totally stuck

You need to check the input selection on the TV and make sure the Fios box is selected. Static mans the TV is trying to use its tuner, so not on HDMI input.
