I upgraded from 150/150 to gigabit but the new router they sent looks just the one I have. Am I missing something?

Nope. Customers have said it was sent automatically. If its a Quantum Gateway Router G1100 you don’t need two of them. Return to fios corporate store near you and get a signed receipt. In any case you will be charged $144 a year to rent.
if internet only, you don’t need either of them. You can purchase a much better router like an asus or netgear or TP Link and save that fee all together.
