They are not very prevalent.
Best option I can think of is to put a box in the wall and fish cable down.
You have to be very careful not to damage cable when you fish it (probably why it wasn't done in the first place).
Not sure how you can get tech to come out and do it (and probably at a cost).
Maybe try contacting support and request tech to come out.
Say you need to relocate ONT.
