Autonewal should mean early sign up

I have autonewal. I would assume having autonewal means I automatically am signed up early enough to benefit from the Early Sign Up price of $169. I've been charged $199. How or who do I need to contact to request a rebate or credit ?

Sorry. I'm referring to NBA League Pass. They offer an early bird for $169. I have auto renew. One would think auto renew does so to capture the early bird. Hence, my question as to why was I charged the full price.
