TV Sound

Since I got fios installed on occasion I don't have sound when I turn on the TV or change a channel but as soon as I turn on TV and back on the sound returns the only problem is it is effecting my DVR recording which are recording without sound sometimes. I know it is not my TV because it was fine before I got verizon fios and when I shut the cable off and turn back on the sound comes back. Any suggestions on what might be going on or how I can fix?

Typical problem with modern TV's and STB's. Essentially Handshake isues that go away if you force them to Handshake again.

If its occasional, and you get get them to work again, its not worth your time to report it. If its more frequent report to BOTH companies. THe problem might be the TV or the STB. You may get them to include a fix in a future release. ANd of course check your TV manufacturer for Firmware updates.
