Wifi set top box and Moca

I am currently using my own router with a Actiontech Moca adapter. Everything is working fine. Only issue I'm having is using my set top box wireless. Any suggestions on what the issue is and a fix. Ittells me I need their modem when trying to fix 5he connection. It did work prior to using my own modem

You have to have a Fios router to update and activate the minis. They get Wi-Fi via a hidden 5ghz network the Fios router creates. You CAN get around it, see using my own router posts, but it isn't easy or recommended.
