How do you remove that banner permenately when turning on your STB? When I turn on the TV I want a channel not advice.
Two things:
1) There is no advantage to turning STB off. Doesn't save any power.
2) I believe there is a menu option to disable screensaver.
I have tried every option in the menu and it still eludes me.
What model STB do you have?
Have you tried not turning it off?
I only use the TV power button on the remote control to turn on and off the TV.
I have an Arris VMS 1100 media client (DVR) and 3 Arris IPC 1100 P2 STBs.
