3G Mobile Hotspot issues!

Alright so who DOES'NT have issues with 3G Mobile Hotspot on the phone that DOES?

 

I had to say that, anyway after tethering for a few minutes, my 3G connection will go away, (icon on my phone), and you guessed it, internet goes with it. 

 

I can't download a simple 200mb file, and all this repeated attempting is adding on to my monthly data limit. Hooray,

 

And please, don't give me that crap about resetting the phone or reactivating or updating the PRL (roaming info).

 

So any ideas? 

 

Perhaps Verizon is working on an update, probably not but is there at least hope?

Once again, I solve my own problem.

 

It would seem that Android is mistaking the fact that Wi-Fi is enabled and connected to something as it being on Wi-Fi for a data connection. 

 

As a result, it disables 3G and 1x accordingly, since, once again, Android assumes you are using Wi-Fi for internet access, when in reality you are just using it to connect your computer to your phone for tethering. 

 

Want a solution? Wait for an update (which is always fun), or downgrade.
