An unannounced change in upgrading to Fios Quontom is the loss of the feture to set a program reminder in the guide. Does anyone know if this will be restored at a future date or if this feature has been permanantly dropped.

It was removed with the new update. No one knows when it might return if at all.
They are working to add it back in.

Yes!!! Please restore the "Set Reminder" function as soon as possible!!! I need to schedule the STB automatically change to specific channels at specific times. The sooner the better!!!
Seriously? More $ less service, once again. What would improved delivery have that affects this? Verizon - what is this technical issue???

I agree. The option to Set Reminders and have the channel change automatically was one of the most useful features "pre upgrade".
This feature needs to be restored as soon as possible.
It's listed inside the customer support section. Go to customer support/tv/tv guide & listings/reminders.
Just the software needs to be updated, the old dvr's and muti- room dvr's have it. How hard can it be to add and send update thru the sytem.

For the Quantum, it is suppose to be slightly delayed, but some rollout to some testers.
What is your definition of a long delay if almost 9 months is a "slight" delay?

Talking just about this "reported" fix. It was first reported as coming in May. Instead its it is apparently in major testing in May, with final date not announced. Obviously if testing goes bad it may be even longer. If testing goes well it may be very soon.
I like having the Set Reminder function back, BUT it now changes the channel on ALL TVs, not just the one with the reminder set.
When you set it, you have the option for this tv or all tvs.
Unfortunately it defaults to all TVs.
I cannot believe that this feature is gone. I was told nothing of this by the rep convincing me to "upgrade" to Quantum TV. This is a feature that I use constantly. I came to this board hoping for a good answer. What I see is that it was supposed to come back in May, however it is August when I have just changed over to Quantum, and I don't have it. I am NOT happy. There are other features missing also, but they would be off-topic for this forum, so I'll have to keep looking for them elsewhere on the forums,
