Gigabit Internet - Not visible to all devices trying to connect

Hi all -

Hello - I have gigabit internet and just purchased a WiFi enabled air conditioner but my WiFi network does not show up on the list of available networks through the air conditioner app but it does show up when I connect other devices like computers and TVs.

Is there a setting on the modem I am supposed to update?

I find that most wifi enabled appliances like smart TVs/Refrigerators don't get great wifi reception compared to your phone or laptop. My guess is that it probably doesn't have a good wifi signal from your router.

For troubleshooting purposes I would hook up your router that room with the AC and see if it sees the wifi. If it does the you know you have a signal issue.
