Does mi424wr work with 1GB connection?

HI, I have a mi424wr rev I with firmware 40.21.24 I'm on 50/50 at the moment but I would like to move to 1gb speed, is this compatible? I'm connected via Coaxial but connecting the router via RJ45 to the ONT box shouldnt be an issue. Please help. TIA

The MI424WR should be able to handle the 1Gbps speed. If you find that it struggles a bit, try to enable hardware acceleration in the router. That is at...
