I just got Verizon FIOS Friday and my router has been resetting itself at least 4 times a day. What could cause this?

Maybe the router got damaged somehow in the process, it is best that you cal Verizon support for troubleshooting.
TomH309 had a great suggestion. Although it could have been a singular event of damage etc. there are many such complaints about the FiOS Quantum Gateway Router doing what the original poster inquired about.
even a google search could yield this issue in more depth.
