Fios and pfSense

Hello,

I currently have Fios 100/100 internet, TV, and phone. I have 3 non-DVR STB's and a cablecard for Tivo. I plan on following this guide to use a pfSense box as a router. The network will have multiple VLANs configured through pfSense and a managed switch.

Do I need to keep the STB's on the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet?

The STBs are well behaved DHCP Clients. They should work on any subnet you offer to them via DHCP, just fine. Just note that they also communicate over 169.254.xxx.xxx addresses, so don't be surprised if you see those as well being used.
