Is my Quantum Router broken?

I purchased a quantum router some time ago and never got around to swapping it with my ActionTec router.

I'm missing the "white" WAN cable also.

Does anyone know if that is a special pinning?

Anyway, it seems I can't get the WAN ethernet link light to come on whether I use a standard or cross-over ethernet cable.

Also, if I just plug my laptop into one of the yellow ports, it shows a link but doesn't serve up any DHCP.

If I manually assign an IP to my laptop (192.168.1.11) , I can't ping or http access the 192.168.1.1 address (Is that still the default IP for the quantum gateway?)

Just curious for suggestions before having to call Verizon.

Click the link above for instructions on how to first release the router that is in use to replace with the Quantum Gateway Router G1100

its very simple. Release per instructions then immediately unplug the router.

put the Quantum on power. Attach the ethernet from the ont to the wan port. Wait for it to fully boot up and you are good to go.
