How to Permanently save dvr to sort by AIR DATE, not date recorded

My question is for fios dvr playback settings. I have 50 episodes of 1 show that I want to watch in order by the ORIGINAL AIR DATE, so I see them in order. But every time I go in to pick the next one, it has gone back to sort by recorded date, and I have to change it back to sort by air date every time. Is there a Permanent setting to sort all recorded shows by AIR DATE, not recorded date? Thanks to anyone for help.

I have trouble with the same thing and seeing as how there were over a hundred views of this problem I contacted Verizon directly. They were unaware of the issue but will fix it in an upcoming update to the firmware.
