STB Doesn't Respond to Remote

My Arris IPC1100 P2 STB no longer responds to all the commands from my P265V RC. I've reset the STB 2x, cleaned the remote and even bought a new one. Failures are the same on old and new remote: I can't see the full guide, I can't bring up the menu or the DVR, control forward or backward video. My other STB and the Media server all respond properly as they should. I also cannot power off the STB using the button on the box.

Is there anything else I should try or is it time to replace the STB?

If you swap remotes around what combination works?

Does the malfunctioning remote work on other STBs or do other remotes work on the malfunctioning STB?

Thanks for answering. No remote works with the STB. The brand new remote doesn't work with the STB - has the same limited functionality. I can only see a limited portion of the guide if I use Channel+/-

Probably the stb.

one last thing to try.

can you put the defective stb in place of the working one and see if it still has the same issue.

if so, then the stb is defective.

If it does work, then there is something causing interference where it is located.
