2.4/5G on Quantum Router

I see my neighbors have received the update to split the signal since they all show up as split between 2.4 and 5G when I check my network. Everyone has the update that is, except me.

I've rebooted the router and got nothing. Can anyone assist? Thanks!

I assume you have a Quantum router as that is the only one that does 5GHz.

If you log in to router and go to System Monitoring - Router status

What do you show as UI Version and Firmware Version.

And you can configure the router yourself to have seperate SSIDs for the two bands if you wish.

I appreciate the response and yes, I have the Quantum router, but it seems a little strange that everyone else in the neighborhood has theirs updated automatically and mine hasn't.

You are talking to peers.

All we can say is check to see if you have the update. I don't have the Quantum router, but on the other routers you can ask for the router to check NOW for an update. Checking periodically is how the routers find out if there is an update.

As strictly a guess, you might not have gotten the update if the router was busy during the time it would normally check. And if you had changed the SSID it might not update it automatically even with the update.
