Drop FIOS Router

I am currently only using the Verizon router for TV. Internet is run through my own router. I am thinking about getting the Actiontec Moca Ethernet adapter (ECB6200) to dump my verizon router altogether. However, I'm wondering if I would get any $$ off my monthly bill? There is no itemized cost for renting the router on my bill. Does any know if I would get any money off for returning the router? thanks.

Verizon router is also providing guide data to STBs.

It can take some work to make the guide data work without a Verizon router.

It has only been the past year or two that routers had to be bought or leased.

Prior to that, they were provided free.

So quite possibly no saving by removing it.
