LOOOONG delay when pressing play. ..

I thought this was corrected but it's back yet again. There's a terribly long delay when pressing play on a dvr'd show yet again. Sometimes it lasts up to 45 seconds. While I love my Quantum, these bugs are getting quite annoying. Any sign of this being fixed for good? Thanks.

reboot the vms. I found this to be a short term fix, but it does come back. I dont get 45 second delays, bit it is a few seconds. hold the stb power button for 10 seconds and it will reboot.

Thanks for the response. This delay as well as other delays have gotten so out of hand that I'm thinking of switching companies. .. and that's something I never thought I'd consider! ! I'm generally extremely happy with Verizon but these delay issues have gone on far too long. Seems to me that they've had PLENTY of time to get these fixed. My money is going to go to someone for my cable each month. ... id rather it go to a company that isn't making me frustrated each and every time I sit down to watch tv.

My delay after selecting "Play" on a recorded show is now about 10-15 seconds. I'll try to reset the STB to see if this helps. Is Verizon aware of this problem?
