You might get a cheaper initial rate, but Comcast raises their rates as well.
People don't realize that a large part of the cost of service (minus hardware fees) goes to the content provider.
And they keep raising their rates all the time. Especially when you hear that a service provider and a content provider comes to odds over a contract.

Something many seem to overlook. I switched to Verizon because COX raised my rates drastically, without warning, and wouldn't negotiate. With Verizon I got better everything for less money. And having seen how superior FiOS is, it would take a huge savings for me to go back.
