How to change to Fios router after installing a belkin router initially

Question

As I'm looking to buy and change to a Gateway G1100 router from my existing Belkin, will this be basically a plug and play or should I expect challenges? I am new to Fios, internet only and Fios was installed using my own router. Thanks for any guidance.

It should be just plug and play. Worst case you might have to release your WAN IP address via the Belkin interface before you connect the G1100. Verizon tech support can also do this remotely if you have any issues.
