My boyfriend is moving in and he also has the same verizon service. The company won't allow us to merge (there is no such a thing like merging according to the company) the two verizon services into one household and had one of us cancel the service. Now we are about to pay a huge penalty fee since we enrolled in the service recently. We comaplined to the cancellation department about why we should be penalized when both of us are staying as the Verizon customers. The supervisor there {edited for privacy} acknowledged that this policy is not fair and even apologized, but said that he can't do anything about it. Why does the company keep the policy that they acknowledge as being unfair? Isn't it about the company trying to profit as much as possible by creating this type of unfair policy?
