This is with regard to - pay per view BOXING MAYWEATHER VS PACQUIAO 05/06/2015 $99.99, which was erroneously/intentionally /automaticaly charged even though I did not watch it .
After I complained they investigated and told me that I did subscribe to it. However even if I had accidently subscribed my receiver has a parental lock and this did not flash. The support confirmed that if there is a power outage the parental controls are reset.
I do regularly subscribe for on demand movies and every time, it asks for a PIN confirmation. However, I was surprised for no fault of mine, I was charged ( $105. 00 with taxes).
I hope this forum / a verizon rep helps me to clarify the following,
1. There was no way to file a written complaint by email, the only option is talk or grouse in this forum
2. Purchases go through eventhough the pin has been reset due to outage. I suspect this should be either a failure of the equipment or software, which caused this problem
3.I want to permanently block any purchases from Verizon FIOS.
4. Explanation of FIOS TV broadcast Fee
