i have diagnostics test result on t.v. screen can't get nothing else.

My cable went out. So i had to reboot and when i rebooted the router i hit the bottom button and all the lights on the router came on. but so did the diagnostic testing results come on the t.v. screen. Now i can't get anything but the dianostic tests results. Someone please help. Thank you.

The buttons on the router shouldn't make the diagnostic screen show up on TV. Unplug the router and set-top box for 60 seconds. First plug in the router and wait for it to fully come back online. Next plug in you set-top box. If it still come up with a diagnostic screen it might need to be replaced. It is possible that box is bad.
