High ping on speed test to Washington DC

Hello I am getting a high ping when running a speed test that has not been happening before, is there a problem with a verizon router in my area? (Central PA)

speed test showing ~130ms ping when this used to consistently be 10ms

Verizon and other isps can't control network performance once data leaves their network.

Not sure what you were doing the trace route to.

The timeouts are because these devices are configured to not respond to traceroute.
