I'm hoping someone can help me out. I was on a two year agreement with Verizon. My contract ended on 9/1/15.
On 8/30, I receive a bill for 121.65, which should be for services for 9/2 to 10/1. I cancelled my services for 9/1/15. I didnt pay b/c it should be a wash on my final bill and it was not.
On my final bill, it says I owe $8.15. I was only given a credit for $113.50 for service for 10/2 to 11/1.
Why did I not receive a zero balance final bill? How can I be charged $8.15 for zero days of service.
This seems like shady billing to me. If I would have cancelled on 9/30, they told me I would have an early termination fee b/c I didnt finish out my contract, so I had no choice but to go to 9/1. If my 9/1 bill and contract was paid up, now can I possibly be charged $8.15?
Any help is appreciated.
