setting up 6100f modem

I just upgraded to 7.1 and verizon sent me a me the 6100f modem. I was wondering when setting up, what do i use for verizon user name and password. I'm not talking about the user/ password for the modem. is it my username@verizon.net or just the username for the ppoe settings.

nevermind, i figured it out. i have to connect the modem directly to the computer and then it will ask to install. i was connecting through the router and it wasn't detecting it on the computer. problem solved.
