Voice mail access number gets busy signal

Hi I am in Beverly MA and when I call my voicemail access number{edited for privacy} it rings a few times then there's a busy signal. When I try my home number from my cell phone (not Verizon service), it rings for a few times then there's a busy signal

so I don't even get the chance to hit the * and # buttons to get my voicemail.

My landline does get a dial tone and I did make an outgoing call from it. I just can't access voicemail. I realize there are

weather issues now currently.

I am sorry to hear that you were unable to reach your voicemail system. Either the access number is programmed in the switch incorrectly or there is/was an outage in your area.
