How do i change my email address i have now to a new one?

#1 If you are talking about for this message board, go to My Settings
#2 Type in the new e-mail address twice (new e-mail address, and confirm new e-mail address)
#3 Press Change My E-mail Address.

I found one Verizon help screen that said, you cannot change your primary email address but you can change your "alias". I tried that, didn't work. Too much spam going out from my account; I HAVE to change my verizon.net email address. If anyone can tell me how to do that, please do! Verizon Help screens and Verizon In-home agent were worthless in trying to figure this out.

You practically have to beg. Or show a critical reason such as ID theft.

You can only create a sub user account.
not an alis but a 2nd email address and use that.
Since verizon has chosen to block there own clients accounts rather than comeup with another solution to those spam users who use your account as the return email address.
what they should do is use the id before the address to ensure its the same all the time .

anyhow .
verizon also doesnt allow you to change your account email addrwss so you need to add one and stop using the account address.
however this still slows down your email recives in outlook as it has to cycle truogh the garbage on there server to find the correct mail for the other accounts.
better not to use verizon at all for anything.
