unable to send email

good morning,

just upgraded to windows 7 from vista. i am having trouble sending email using widows live mail . incoming and outgoing.verizon.net settings are good. changed port from 25 to 587 and still cant send any email. does anyone have a solution ?

What error are you getting when you try to send? Since you say the issue is with sending, does that mean you are able to receive mail without an issue? If so, have you tried setting your outgoing server to use the same authentication information as your incoming?
