Allowing specific internet addresses to access my DMZ printer

I service several Linux servers from my home office. It is occasionally necessary for me to print their output to my printer which is accessible through an open DMZ. I know that many Linksys routers have the ability to limit access to the DMZ only to specified internet addresses. Does that same option exist for the Verizon router-modem?

First of all, Verizon does not provide router-modem combos. Verizon's "modem" is either an ONT or a DSL modem in old installations. Verizon router is a standalone device, such as G1100/3100 or older Actiontec routers.

Verizon router's Firewall Access Control is either blocking all traffic or none. To achieve what you want at the layer 3 level needs addition hardware, such as a secondary router or a hardware firewall. One workaround is enabling the host-based firewall at the printer. HP printers, for example, has a firewall built into its ethernet interface. You can restrict access to certain IP address there.
