I have changed my settings for Windows Live Mail and I'm not receiving or sending email on my Verizon account.
THE NEW SERVERS DO NOT SUPPORT APOP. Use clear text instead.

I use Windows Live Mail on both a WIN7 notebook and a WIN8 notebook. The new settings do work with WLM.
If you continue to have problems: Post a screenshot of your Live Mail settings. Seeing what your are will make it easier to identify the problem.
Hello Walt,
I'm still unable to send or receive mail on WLM. Here is the latest message I'm receiving.
Unable to send or receive messages for the Verizon (msantell1) account. Windows Live Mail couldn't log on to the email server using authenticated POP (APOP). Contact your email provider and verify that it supports authenticated POP. To change this logon setting, in the folder list, right-click on the account name, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu. In the Properties dialog, click the Servers tab and then under Incoming Mail Server, select a logon option.

TNS_2,
That worked! Thanks for helping out!!
