Is Verizon blocking me from posting to my Google group

I am a new administrator ( of several) on our organization's Google group which is used only for delivering messages to the group. Evan though I have permisions as an administrator to post and other managing functions, I am unable to post a new message from my verizon.net or gmail emails. Any help is apprciated.

I have looked at all the help topics and none directly address the problem. I have another GG member who is not able to post even though they have been given posting ability in GG.
