Moving an existing POTS phone line to FiOS

I have FiOS Triple Play bundle that includes Verizon Freedom Essentials phone service. I also have an additional copper-based POTS phone line still in use. I would like to have the POTS line moved from copper to FiOS, and port the phone number from the POTS line to FiOS. Is this possible, and how do I go about doing this?

Hi netsurfer44,

Yes you can certainly have multiple phone lines with the FiOS service. Any additional lines that you would like to have on your account needs to be setup from our orders office. Feel free to give them a call at 1-800-837-4966. (Monday-Friday 8am-9pm EST) Keep in mind you will need a field tech to come out to hook up the inside wiring for the second line to our ONT terminal.
