g3100 bridged when istalled

When Verizon Fios was initially installed, it was put in Bridge Mode I believe because I had my old router connected to one of the G3100's lan ports. That router suddenly went bad and I removed it from the lan port. Is the fact it is still in bridge mode hampering anything. If so, is there a way to get it out of bridge mode or is that non consequential?

This sounds like the old router was put into the bridge mode, G3100 is the main router. If this is the case, it is non-consequential for the old router to die.

Okay, thank you. I thought maybe that was having something to do with my OpenVPN Server from my Synology NAS connected to the G3100 not seemingly working due to "Server Poll Timeout" issues on my Samsung Android phone.

just curious, what would it show if it was not bridged?

Well, then the Network(Home/Office) property would should 192.168.1.1 as IP address and IP distribution: DHCP Server. The router does not have an official "bridge" mode. We only configure it to be bridged.
