Ethernet drops on CR1000A with E3200 Extender

Got my CR1000A, mostly Wi-Fi but had Lan1 going to PC. They gave me the free whole home extender, E3200 instead of the matching CME1000. ONT -(CAT8)- Router-Lan1(cat8) to E3200. Would work and by next morning get yellow light on E3200. Plugged lan1 back 2 PC and no issues for 3 days. Day for put E3200 back on, worked all day then dropped some point at night. Support did a factory reset with E3200 seemed to fix, until yesterday I put NAS on Lan2. LAN2 worked all day for cloning old HD to cloud. This morning both LAN1+2 had no connection or lights.
support sending me out a new CR1000A and they think if that don’t fix it’s a capability issue with E3200.

Replacement cr1000a did not work same problem 3 days later. Have to spend hours , rebooting, powering down , and even factory reset and swoping lan ports. The E3200 is incapable with 6E router. If I remove the E3200 my network is fine for weeks.

This sounds like the E3200 may be defective.

CR1000A sends config packaged as SSDP to E3200. E3200 needs to be hardwired to CR1000A either by Ethernet or coax.

Hi Cang.

Do you know if the Cr1000 will ever support wireless connection to the E3200 for backhaul?

Or does it still need to be hardwired (coax or ethernet)?
