I need to know How to block any 1-900 numbers (sex lines, etc) from being dialed, PLEASE HELP

I have been through the verizon site for an hour now, and cannot figure out how to tell if my son has dialed any of these numbers. How can I stop it before it happens????????

How can I stop any toll calls (like sex lines, dating lines, etc. from being dialed, thus charging ME hundreds, if not thousands of dollars?

You'll have to call or write Verizon in order to get a 900 block put on your line. You can do that here: http://www22.verizon.com/Residential/Support/ContactUs/

One option is to subscribe to an optional feature called 'Call Gate'. This feature is available for Verizon landline phones and lets you block virtually any type of outgoing call from being made from your telephone number. I think it costs about $5.40/month.

hi,

i just changed from mci to verizon today and in the switch i was asked if i wanted to block 900 and 700 calls from being made from my number and i said yes. so i think you need to call verizon and talk to an accounts person and ask them to block those calls for you.
