I find on my.verizon.com that my Service Ready Date has been scheduled to Aug 1, 2011! Is it necessary to wait 50 days for the SRD? It's unbelievable!
Has anyone else experienced such a long wait before service activated?
I'm not sure if anyone really has received such a long wait when trying to order service. It definitely sounds like some explaining is in order, since DSL should be up and running by no more than two weeks. Ideally a DSL line should be running within a week of order. Just make sure you aren't being billed for what you aren't receiving in the meantime.
